Basic Truths

God is. There is nothing outside of this.

For the divine to have any kind of experience, it must divide itself. An ego must be formed. The ego is a crystallized form of consciousness. God, or the Supreme Being, does not judge or intervene directly. God only observes and gathers information.

All of being is constantly in motion. All is one. The hunter will be prey, and the prey will be hunter. Everything is perfectly balanced.

There is no such thing as coincidence. Everything is connected.

The planet we live on, Earth, is a living organism. It is conscious, and we humans are part of that larger organism.

Our reality is constructed through the interaction between our unconscious mind and a larger field of consciousness that exists beyond the individual self. This field contains all available information and infinite possibilities. In other words, we create our own reality, but we do so through the unconscious mind.

The reality around you is a mirror of your inner self. This is true for individuals, but also for large groups of people undergoing a psychological journey together.

Life is a mirror. What you send out into the world is what comes back to you. Every human being holds the entire universe within himself or herself. What is inside is outside; what is above is below. There is no knowledge you can attain that is not already within you. All learning is remembering.

Time and space are illusions necessary to experience reality at the human level.

There is only the present moment.

Man is more than his body or his brain. The body is merely a container.

There is no death. What we call death is just a gateway.

Whenever one chapter ends, another begins. There is no end.

Our life is filled with suffering, and we live and die over and over again, advancing along the path of learning until we finally open a portal to the transcendental.

That feeling we all have that something is missing from our lives, that quiet despair we keep ourselves busy so as not to feel, is our longing for God’s embrace and for oneness with the Source. Our soul remembers our true home even if we do not.

The only way to end suffering is to get rid of our ego. To do that, we must overcome the fear of death.

Every life path and every life choice is equally valid. God seeks different points of view and different experiences. All paths ultimately lead back to the Source.

Nothing in the material world has intrinsic value. We give things value. Things such as money have value only because we project value onto them in any given moment.

The opposite of love is not hatred. It is fear. The greatest fear is that we are not worthy of God’s love. All negative emotions arise from that fear.

True spiritual development is always grounded in truth. What we call evil always begins with a lie and is built upon it.

Your path is unique. What works for you and moves you forward along the spiritual path may not work for someone else. Never ask someone to tell you what to do.

When you find yourself between two extremes and are unsure which direction to take, or how far to pursue something, the middle path is usually the right answer.

Watch where you place your attention. There are distractions all around you. Focus is key.

Ideally, you should be able to balance your rational mind with your intuition. Courage and faith. Ultimately, it is faith that gives you the courage to let go.

A house is built on a strong foundation. Your path is slow and painful for a reason.

No matter how much you fight the current, how upset you become, or how deeply you despair, things will unfold at the speed and in the way that they must. To accept that is to be free.

No one is intrinsically better than anyone else. Everyone has a part to play, and every part is necessary for the whole. Each of us is a note in a symphony that only God can hear in its entirety.
